Crown Street Windows

Excerpt from accompanying text:

“On our walk down Crown Street, I decided to look at windows.  Sweet reisdential bays looking out onto the street, elaborately ornamented windows framed with carved stone moldings, enormous glass planes spanning floors of new construction.  The shape of windows can say a lot about a structure’s age, style, program, and relationship to the street.  Even on the plainest of buildings, windows break up the mass of the façade, organizing the visual experience of the building from the outside and inside.”
