Climate Engagement through Art in Cities Launch

Victoria Martinez and Daniel Pizarro are the Climate Engagment Fellows hired through a Yale Planetary Solutions Grant Project, “Climate Engagement through Art in Cities,” that brings together representatives from the Yale School of Art (Kym Pynder, Dean); Yale School of Environment (Karen Seto, Xuhui Lee); Yale School of Architecture (Elihu Rubin, Anna Dyson); and the City of New Haven (Adrianne Jefferson, Director of Cultural Affairs).

This reception at the 2nd Floor Gallery of the Yale School of Architecture will introduce the Climate Engagement Fellows and launch their efforts to develop a public art mural about climate change that also uses cooling paints to reduce the urban heat island effect.
